What can I do from the public OLP website? What can be done in the Member Portal and the OLP App?
For Webmasters:
The Public-Facing OLP website are Webmaster-centric for your local groups, districts, and parent groups, and provides the most Webmaster features. The public-facing OLP website is where you as a webmaster can add files and photos, have access to the Dashboard, and where can turn on and off different pages on your site, invite members to OLP, add a seal/logo, and manage your Groupable Payments account with WePay.
The OLP Website for your local group/district/parent group are also where you have the most flexibility and full Calendar features: Managing your Calendar and adding News Posts. Adding Events and News Posts can also be done in the Member Portal and App, but with a limited feature set. For a full feature set, log in at your public-facing OLP Website.
The Member Portal and OLP App are Member-centric. While you as a Webmaster have the ability to create events, you cannot delete calendar events from the Portal or App. You can add a News Post, and can post to your fellow members or to the OLP website.
When you're in the Member Portal or OLP App and want to post publicly to the OLP website, switch the post setting to the "Webmaster" role from the default "Member" role. If you're a Webmaster for more than one local/district/parent, you'll need to select which Webmaster you're posting as in order to manage who will see this new post. This allows you to post a notification for your local group and include it on the website, or to post as a member privately in the feed to your fellow members. You get to manage each webmaster post.
