Instructions to Invite Additional Teams Member to Your Stripe Account
If you wish to invite any other officers to access the Stripe Merchant Account, log into your Stripe Merchant account and navigate to:
- Settings
- Team and Security
- + New Member

Your new member will receive an email inviting them to create their Stripe Merchant Account.

How to transfer account ownership
To an existing user
- Go to your Team settings on the Dashboard.
- Locate the user you want to make the new account owner and click the overflow menu.
- The next steps depend on whether the user is already a Super Administrator or Administrator.
- If they are: From the popup, choose the option to Transfer ownership to this user. If they are an Administrator of the account, they become a Super Administrator after the ownership transfer.
- If they are not:
- Set their role to Super Administrator and click Save.
- Click the overflow menu again for the same user and from the popup, select Transfer ownership and follow the instructions.
To a new individual
- Go to Team settings on the Dashboard .
- Click +New Member.
- Add the new user’s email address and set their role to Super Administrator.
- Click Save to send them an invitation to join the account.
- After the new user has accepted the invite, go back to Team settings.
- Click the overflow menu next to their name.
- From the popup, select Transfer ownership and follow the instructions.
