Use this guide when you're finished working in Groupable or want to log in as someone else. It's for anyone who is logged in.
Log out
- Open your account menu. On a phone or a narrow window, your name isn't in the top bar. Tap the menu icon at the top left, scroll to the bottom of the menu, and tap your name. In Connect on a phone, the menu icon opens a grid of tiles instead, and Log Out is one of the tiles under My links. Otherwise, click your name in the upper right corner of the screen.
-
Click Log Out.
Groupable ends your session and takes you to the first page of your organization's Groupable site. If your organization uses Connect, that's the Connect home page. If it doesn't, it's the login screen. If your organization still uses some of the older classic screens, you may land on a different page.
What logging out clears
Logging out clears the Recent Members list on the Search screen under Members/Contacts. It doesn't empty My Audience, the members you've gathered for labels or emails, because Groupable saves that list with your account.
When Groupable logs you out on its own
If you don't open a page in Groupable for a month, your session ends. In M2, the next page you open sends you to the login screen. After you log in, you start on your Home page. If you got to the login screen by opening a bookmark, typing an address, or following a link in an email, Groupable takes you to that page instead. In Connect, you see only the pages anyone can see until you log in again.
Each page you open starts the month over. A Groupable page left open in your browser starts it over too, because the page checks in with Groupable every few minutes. If you use Groupable regularly or leave it open, this rarely happens. On a shared computer, log out when you're finished.
Closing your web browser can also log you out, depending on your browser's settings.
