Example Letter Offering Online Payment Option

You now have the ability to pay your annual dues and donations online. When you received your annual dues notice via an e-mail, you may have noticed the "Pay Now" button at the bottom of the e-mail. By clicking the "Pay Now" button, you will be taken to a secure screen where dues and donations may be made for a nominal convenience fee. 

When using a traditional credit card (a payment card not linked to your bank account), you, as the payer, will be charged the convenience fee plus a credit card processing fee or "surcharge." 

When one uses a check or debit card (any payment card linked to a bank account), the lodge is charged the debit card processing fee, thus reducing the effectiveness of your dues payment.

As a result, if you choose to use the online payment method, please always check this box to "cover all processing fees" when making your payment.

Of course, one can still pay their dues using a check and mailing their payment to:
