Field Descriptions:
Recipient Types
- Recipient Types vary based on your organization.
- To be included in a Recipient Type, individuals must have an "Active" status (excluding "Single Member") and a Valid Email
- Recipient Types/Statuses are based on having qualifying Timeline events on a member record.
- To update a Type and Status, a local Secretary or the Parent Group must add timeline events to a member record.
Example Recipient Types and characteristics:
- Single Member: Search for any individual in your local by name or member number (any Recipient Type, all Active or Inactive Statuses)
- Search: type 3 or more characters of the name; search by member number; Search Results will display the following format: Member Name (Member Number) - Local Name (Member Status)
- Master Mason/Full Members: Selects all active full members in your local.
- Master Mason Petitioner/Raised Master Mason: Petition Read & Petition Cleared Members in your Local ( Jurisdiction Dependent) - not yet full active members. May still require Elected Event or Signed Bylaws Event.
- Fellowcraft: Selects all members with the status of Active Fellowcraft in your local.
- Entered Apprentice: Selects all members with the status of Active Entered Apprentice in your local.
- Candidate: Selects all members with the status of Active Candidate in your local.
- Widow: Selects all Active Widows in your local.
- Honorary: Selects all Active Honorary Type members in your local.
- Contact: Selects all Active Contact Dues Categories in your local.
Filters:
- Skip Emailable Members: Includes only those who have an invalid email address, no email address, and those members who have disabled email in Connect Mailing Preferences to save on postal expenses.
- Exclude Members with No Solicitations: References Member's Communication Preference: "No Solicitations" - only emails members with "No Solicitations" = "No"
- Only Members with No Solicitations: References Member's Communication Preference: "No Solicitations" - only emails members with "No Solicitations" = "Yes"
- Transactional Communication: Only use for communications that are of a legal or transactional nature, such as receipts, or notifications of membership status. This will produce output for all members regardless of their preferences. Abusing this is a violation of the service agreement.
- Show Key Line: Show basic member info on first line for easy identification of returned mail.

- Similar behavior to Email One Member.
