The Help widget is a button in the bottom right corner of most M2 and Connect screens. It's for anyone using M2 or Connect who has a question for Groupable. It belongs to Groupable's help center, so it reaches Groupable and not your local or parent group.
Where you'll find the widget
You'll find the widget on:
- M2 screens
- Raiser, Inbox, Store, and Credentials screens
- Connect screens, but only after you log in
- The login screen, the screens for creating an account or resetting a password, and the page that opens when someone scans the QR code on a dues card
You won't find it on:
- Printed pages. M2 hides the widget when you print.
- Pages you open from an email about a message you sent through a Connect page's Contact Us form, such as the page to confirm your email address or view replies.
Open the Help widget
-
Open any M2 screen, such as your Home screen.
-
Wait for the screen to finish loading. The widget loads after the rest of the screen, so it can take a moment to show up.
-
Look in the bottom right corner for a round-edged button with a question mark in a circle and the word Help. The question mark beside the search box at the top of the screen is a different tool. It opens Search Help.
-
Click the button.
The widget shows help articles and lets you send a question to Groupable support. Write your question in as much detail as you can.
If you don't see it
The widget loads from Zendesk, the service behind Groupable's help center. If your browser or your network blocks Zendesk, the widget can't load. Ask whoever manages your computer or network to allow it.
Other ways to get help
In M2 and Raiser, click Help in the main menu, then click Help Center. The help center opens in a new tab. Use the Menus to Get Around in M2 shows where to find the main menu.
To get help from a person during a live screen share, join an Office Hours session. Groupable|Live! Training Schedule lists the sessions and has the links to register.
Reach your own local or parent group
Log in to Connect. Open the group's page from My Groups, which lists the groups you belong to or follow, or from Directory, which lists the locals. Then click Contact Us in the group's menu. Connect: Contact Us Form describes the form.
