When a member from outside your jurisdiction, usually your state, wants to join your lodge, that is referred to as a 'foreign' affiliate. To enter the petition information for a Foreign Affiliate, go to Membership > Add Foreign Affiliate in the menu. If you do not see this option in the menu, you may need to submit the petition on paper. Contact the Grand Office.
The form in groupable|m2 has a few sections to it. The first one looks like so:
The first section captures some basic biographical information about the member plus the lodge they are joining and the proposer(s). The second section is required. Here is where you list the member's memberships in foreign jurisdictions. Click the 'add' button to add as many as you need.

In the third section, you add all known events from the member's foreign jurisdictions. You need to have added the memberships first in section two for the membership to be available for adding events to it.
The forth and final section captures the affiliates contact information and looks like so:
After a petition is submitted for approval by the Grand Office, you can view the petition's progress via the Pending Foreign Affiliations screen, the screen is accessible by going to Membership > Pending Foreign Affiliations in the menu. The screen looks like this:
