I've just become a new officer, how do I get access to groupable? (or: what is the process for the submission of a new Certificate of Election)

In order to get access to the database, an individual requires a member record with a role or office that assigns access to the database.

Local Officers

For local officers, this means that their current/prior secretary must submit a Certificate of Election (COE) which queues it for the Parent Group / Grand Body for Approval. 

1. First, a COE is created and saved by the current/outgoing secretary (or by the Grand Body on behalf of the local secretary). It is now status: "NEW" 
2. Second, the COE must be approved by the Grand Body, and the officers installed. When the installation date is already in the past, then the Approval by the Grand Body automatically installs the new officers. When the installation date is the in future, the Grand Body can either "install now" or the local secretary can Install after Approval has been completed.
3. Third, once installation has been confirmed in the groupable|m2 COE, the new officers have a current officer position on their record that gives them permission to create their groupable|m2 account, or log into an existing groupable|m2 account.

What if my term hasn't begun, but my current officers would like me to have early access?

Answer:

Each organization has its own unique URL for access to its database. Contact support@groupable.com or an officer of your organization for the URL for your database URL.

District, Regional, or Group Level Officers

When a new District, Regional, or Group Level Officer is recorded in the system, and this office includes permission to access groupable|m2, then the new officer will receive an email or text message notification from groupable|m2 inviting them to create their user account.

If you have an existing user account, you will not receive an invitation to create your account. The next time you log into groupable|m2, you will automatically have the new District, Regional, or Groupable Level role attached to your user account.
