Here are answers to some of the commonly-asked questions in response to the weekly member update emails.

Common Member Questions
How do I pay my dues online?
Make sure you have a user account, and then follow these instructions to pay your dues (the Secretary must have set up your Dues for the year and also have an active Stripe Merchant Account tied to groupable).
To donate to the local group, you'll need a groupable user account, and the Secretary needs an active Stripe Account tied to groupable.
I have already paid my dues; why doesn't my member record match?
When you pay your dues online in Groupable|Connect, your member record will automatically update with this payment. You'll see that your Dues Owed will automatically update and that you have a new paid receipt for this payment.
When your Secretary has accepted Dues payment with any method other than Groupable|Connect, then the Secretary must manually record the payment in groupable|m2. If the Secretary hasn't recorded your payment yet, your member record will show that you still owe Dues.
To help your Secretary maintain payment receipts, please ask your Secretary to log into Groupable|m2 and Sign Up for a Stripe Account so that your payment is automatically recorded on your member record. Setup with Stripe usually takes a Secretary about 15 minutes. Please take a look at the signup instructions for requirements.
How do I manage my email preferences or unsubscribe?
When you have a groupable account tied to your member record, you'll need to log in to manage your email preferences.
When you do not have a groupable account, clicking the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the Weekly Member Updates emails will bring you to a page to control your email preferences and Follows.
How do I manage my Follows?
How to Follow or Favorite a Local or District in the Connect Member Portal
I no longer wish to be a member/have already resigned.
You have received this email because the organization's records indicate that you are still active or in good standing with the organization. We can help you by connecting you with the Parent Group (Grand Lodge or Grand Chapter) to help you terminate your membership.
However, sending a message to Groupable is not official notice and won't terminate your membership with a local group or Grand Body. We are a private vendor to the organization. You'll need to let the local group and/or parent group know (and provide proper notice) to terminate your membership in the organization.
How do I create an account?
Use a link in any of the Groupable|Connect emails to log in or create a user account. Some posts and features are only available when logged in (some Events, News Posts, Comments, and Make A Payment).
Your member record will need a current cell phone or email address.
My Contact Information is out of date, how can I log in / create account?
Please get in touch with your secretary or Grand / Parent Body; they'll help by updating the contact information on your member record. Then follow the instructions to create your account!
Common Secretary / Officer Questions
How do I update the time of our regularly scheduled meetings?
How do I Edit the Local Address, Meeting Nights, or Current Officers in Groupable|Connect?
What if my Members' Dues Owed are not Up to Date?
To make sure that your members can see their current membership and Dues Owed status, please feel free to contact groupable if you would like assistance with a Dues Owed Reboot.
When you receive payments outside of the Groupable Stripe Payments integration, please be sure to enter the receipts promptly on your member records.
Why Does the Weekly Member Update Include Dues Owed?
The Weekly Member Update includes a current dues statement for your members to view for clarity and transparency. In addition, we've seen weekly dues reminders gently nudge members to make their payments and help local groups lower their NPD rates by up to 75% (when combined with calendar events / RSVPs and regular News Posts). Notably, secretaries find that frequently, late payees can suddenly make a credit card payment and pay first instead of last.
How do I Ensure My Life Members don't Receive a Dues Owed?
Please double-check that you maintain an accurate Member Dues Type as well as Current Dues Owed for all active members. This means any Life Members who do not owe dues or per-capita should owe $0.00, and Dues Owed should reflect all current dues rates. If you have any questions about this, please contact Groupable using the HELP button in the lower right corner.
