Introduction to Groupable|Connect
What is Groupable|Connect?
Groupable|Connect is your group’s (the parent organization that oversees all locals – for example, a state-level body or national association) online home for members. It is a members-only website where you can:
- Read news posts and announcements from your local (the individual unit within your organization, such as a lodge, chapter, or local committee) and your group
- View upcoming events and RSVP
- Browse photos from meetings and events
- Download files and documents your local has shared
- See who your local’s officers are
- View your own membership record, dues owed, and payment history
- Make a dues payment or donation online, if your group offers online payments
Connect vs. Groupable|m2
Groupable|m2 is where officers and staff manage membership records, financials, and administrative tasks.
Groupable|Connect is the members-facing side of that same information — where members go to stay informed and see their own membership details.
Think of Groupable|m2 as the “back office” and Connect as the front door members walk through.
Who Can Use Connect?
- Anyone can view a local’s public pages, such as news, events, and photos, without logging in, if your webmaster (the person responsible for administering your group’s Connect site) has made those pages public.
- Logged-in members can also see their own membership details, make payments, RSVP to events, and comment on posts (comments require your name to be visible in Connect — see your privacy settings on the My Profile page).
- Webmasters can additionally create posts, manage pages, and reach the admin dashboard for a group.
