This guide is for members who have created a Groupable account and enabled it with the link in their welcome message. If you haven't done that yet, start with Create Your Groupable Account.
Before you start
You need the username and password you chose when you created your account. If you've lost track of your username, open your welcome email. It says "Your username is" followed by your username.
The welcome text message doesn't show your username. If you only got the text, ask your local group's secretary. Your username is in the User Account section of your member record.
If you came here from the link in your welcome message, Groupable already took you to this login screen and showed "Account Enabled" at the top. Start at step 3.
- Open your organization's Groupable site. Each organization has its own site, so use the address your organization gave you. Your welcome email shows the address too, right after "You have successfully signed up for groupable at".
-
If you land on a Connect page instead of a login screen, click sign in / create account at the top right of the page. On a phone, tap the person icon there instead.
You can also click the Sign In / Create Account button on the page.
-
Click the Username box and type your username.
-
Click the Password box and type your password. To check what you typed, click the eye button at the right end of the box. Click it again to hide your password.
- Click Log In.
After you log in, Groupable opens the page for your role, such as your local group's page. If your account has no management role and your organization uses Connect, you land on your Connect feed instead. To learn your way around the menus, see Use the Menus to Get Around in M2.
If you had an account before
Don't create a second account. If you ever had a username and password for Groupable, or for Mori Classic or OLP before it, try those first.
If they don't work, click Forgot your password? under the Log In button. You can use your member number there, so you don't need to remember your old username. The steps are in Reset Your Password When You Can't Log In.
If you try to create a new account when you already have one, Groupable stops you and opens the login screen with "You already have an account".
If that account was never enabled, Groupable opens the Activate Your Account screen with "You already have an account awaiting activation" instead. Click Resend Welcome Message and use the link in the new message. It turns on the account you made before, with the username and password you chose then. If you don't remember that password, click Forgot your password? on the login screen after you enable it.
If you can't log in
A message appears at the top of the screen. Find yours in this table.
| What the screen says | What to do |
|---|---|
| "login invalid" | Groupable can't match that username and password. Check that Caps Lock is off, because passwords must match exactly. Click the eye button to see what you typed. Make sure you're on your own organization's Groupable site, because each site only knows its own users. If it still fails, follow Reset Your Password When You Can't Log In. |
| "This account is not enabled." | You haven't used the link in your welcome message yet. Click Enable your Account in the email, or the link in the text message. If you can't find the message, see "If the welcome message doesn't arrive" in Create Your Groupable Account. |
| "Incorrect Code: Contact your site administrator to send a new welcome message." | The link you used didn't match your account. Ask your local group's secretary to click Resend Welcome Message on your member record, then use the link in the new message. You can also ask for a new message yourself. See "If the welcome message doesn't arrive" in Create Your Groupable Account. |
For "This account is locked.", "Access denied", and any other message, see Reset Your Password When You Can't Log In.
